New mineral edition with a selection of fine Andradite garnets variety Demantoid from a not well-known deposit in Iran.
I picked up these all specimens from local collectors who mined them recently. The crystals are included on metamorphic rocks which are part of the southern flank of the Belqeys Mountains.
All the specimens are composed by lustrous crystals of Andradite garnet variety Demantoid with an intense green color. These Demantoid specimens seldom were found in
rich clusters, as opposed to single crystals on matrix, composing an aggregate of crystals which are not common to find.
The crystals show the form of the dodecahedron and trapezohedron.
