Very nice green Elbaite specimen from Stak Nala. It consists of a main big translucent Elbaite crystal measuring 2'5cm x 1'5 cm in size, nestled on a matrix of Albite. Other smaller Elbaite crystals are present, some of them biterminated. Aesthetic piece with good color and brilliance. No damage.

The most beautiful Grossular Garnets in the world come from the Jeffrey Mine, and this is a good example of it.

Specimen composed by a group of transparent dodecahedral Grossular crystals with excellent orange color and high luster. Some crystals of Vesuvianite are attached to this specimen. The largest crystal is 0'8 cm across. In very good condition. Very nice specimen.

The most beautiful Grossular Garnets in the world come from the Jeffrey Mine, and this is another good example of it. Specimen composed by a group of  transparent Grossular crystals. They are gemmy, with a beautiful amber-orange color, high luster and with the classic striations on the stepped faces. The main crystal measures 0'8 cm across. In perfect condition.

A very nice example of Garnets from the Jeffrey mine. This specimen is composed by a group of  transparent Grossular crystals to 6 mm in size. They are gemmy, with a beautiful pale orange color and good luster. In very good condition.

Quartz variety Amethyst, Piedra Parada (Las Vigas), Tatatila Mun., Veracruz, Mexico

 

We have selected a few Quartzs, variety Amethyst, for this update. They come from a recent acquisition, directly from Piedra Parada (Las Vigas) in Mexico.

 

Las Vigas has provided with specimens of exceptional beauty to many mineral collections. Although the crystals from Las Vigas  are not of a particularly remarkable size, exhibit unique developmental characteristics and a very nice violet color. Some Amethyst crystals form clusters of highly aesthetic.

 

All specimens in this new edition are very fine Amethysts with very good color, high luster and with a great aesthetic, carefully selected by ourselves among hundreds of pieces. All pieces without any damage.
