BS04 - Epidote. Hachupa (Hashupi), Shigar Valley, Skardu District, Baltistan, Northern Areas, Pakistan.
Sharp, gemmy and aesthetic Epidote specimen. This is a fine Epidote showing a good olive green color. Looks a lot like a classic Austrian specimen but it is from Shigar. Display equally well from either side, a really great value for a good alpine style piece.

Thick tabular crystal of Calcite with very well defined faces and edges and with good luster and a very nice honey color. Disposed on matrix. From a small find in the Granitic quarries north of Madrid where only a few pieces were recovered. The crystal has a very good size for the locality. In excellent condition. No damage.
