BP04 - Calcite. Longyan, Fujian province, China.
New find from China. Group of well formed prismatic crystals of Calcite with hexagonal shapes and a marked zoning, these Calcites are known as "sandwich Calcites". The crystals have a light pink color in the center sandwiched between two zones with whiter sades on the edges. Under long wave UV light this form of calcite is highly fluorescent with a beautiful rich orange glow. Great contrast to the matrix of blackish grey limestone. Excellent Calcite from a new discovery in China. The condition is very good as seen.

BP11 - Kunzite. Kunar Valley, Kunar Province, Afghanistan.
Very well developed prismatic crystal of Spodumene, variety Kunzite, with a nice pink color, very good transparency and good luster. The faces and edges of the prysm are very well defined with a fine and sharp termination. A gemmy Kunzite in excellent condition, no damage.

BP13 - Red Beryl. Ruby Violet Claim, Wah Wah Mountains, Utah, USA
Single terminated Beryl (variety red beryl) crystal with well defined faces and edges and terminal faces. It is translucent with a nice red color and disposed on a white rhyolite matrix with stunning contrast. An excellent American classic that has disappeared from the market due to the cessation of work on the deposit. These specimens are currently very scarce and reach quite high prices, this one represents a very good value for the specie.

Well developed crystal of Vivianite with a deep green internal color and nicely disposed on a matrix of Siderite
