New mineral edition with a selection of very nice mineral specimens from the Panasqueira mines including some high quality Fluorites as well as other great combination specimens. We have also added a mineralogical novelty, the new Vivianites from the Rosia Poieni mine in Romania. The Rosia Poieni ore deposit represents the largest Cu-Au porphyry structure in the Metaliferi Mountains. The Vivianite crystals grow along thin fissures in silicified, dark-grey microdiorite rocks or refilling cleveage planes in hydrotermalized Cretaceous sedimentary rocks. The color, luster and transparency of the Vivianite crystals are incredible. One of the most relevant and the most important discoveries in Europe since decades.
As usual we have posted beside the photos of each specimen a video for a much better characterization and visualization of the piece. Please, don't hesitate to contact us for any inquiry or question.
Note: Photos taken using white light lamps and videos in conditions of natural light.

Diorite rock. The dimension, the quality, the brilliance and the deep green color are
fantastic. Great Vivianite specimen without damage. One of the most relevant and the most important discoveries in Europe since decades.

Another fantastic combination specimen from the Panasqueira mines. Group of Ferberite crystals with very well defined faces and edges and high
brilliance. A large Fluorite crystal with an octahedral shape, uncommom at Panasqueira, is perched at the center of the specimen. It has a very nice color and contrast strongly to the black
matrix of Ferberite. It is also present a group of very well developed crystals of Chalcopyrite. Great Panasqueira specimen in perfect condition. Video taken in natural light and photos using
white light lamps.
Specimen size: 7 cm x 6 cm x 6 cm

Group of Fluorite crystals with an octahedral shape, very uncommon for the Panasqueira mines, with a nice lilac color and are implanted on a matrix
of Quartz crystals coated by Chlorite. Fluorites from Panasqueira, considered rare some time ago, is currently a more common species sometimes as elegant as this one. Aesthetic specimen in
excellent condition. Video taken in natural light and photos using white light lamps.
Specimen size: 8 cm x 4 cm x 3 cm
Fluorite cluster size: 4 cm x 2 cm
